NPA NSW Bushwalking Program is the largest of its kind in Australia. It offers around 1000 walks per year, led by approximately 200 experienced volunteer walks leaders guiding walks with minimal impact on the environment. These include short walks, theme walks, very challenging walks, walks for inexperience walkers, walks for the whole family, and walks for the very experience walker.
Enjoy the safety of a group while exploring the spectacular & unique bushland of NSW. As an NPA member, you walk free on as many walks as you wish - both midweek and weekends. Join NPA now and start walking today!
The Macarthur's Branch bushwalk and active program include a series a theme walks, such as the Short Sunday Walks and Artist Walks, and the Lecture Series Walks. A full program of these and other walks and activities can be found here.
Over the next few months we hope to photograph local walks along the Georges River, these walks will take place on a Sunday morning, meeting at 9 a.m.
There is no need to take photographs if you do not want to, we anticipate that each walk will only take a couple of hours, bring morning tea if you would like, as we will spend time at the river to talk, or take photographs.
The next short walk will be on Sunday 14th of June to the Old Ford Track. We will be meeting at the end of Georges River Rd, Kentlyn at 9 a.m.
Stroll into the bush and spend time, sketching, painting or taking photographs, or bring a book and relax.
